'Crazy,' 'Artist' for Hamptons
The Hamptons Film Festival has set its focal point and shutting evening films, tapping Sundance Award champion "ConstantlyInch for focal point and Cannes fave "The Artist" because the closer. Anton Yelchin, who stars in youthful-love tale "ConstantlyInch with Felicity Johnson, is going to be one of the thesps drawn on for that fest's annual roster of breakthrough entertainers. The Weinstein Co.'s "Artist" is not the only real TWC pic around the HIFF slate: Teen bullying doc "The Bully Project," acquired at Tribeca captured, will screen because the champion from the fest's Brizzolara Family Foundation Award for films about conflict and resolution. Michel Hazanavicius' quiet picture homage "The Artist" won Cannes' top actor kudo for lead Jean Dujardin. Pic's U.S. release is placed for November. 23. Nabbed by Vital at Sundance, where it acquired the Grand Jury prize for the best picture plus an acting kudo for Johnson, "ConstantlyInch hits U.S. theater March. 28.
